01 Mar Runway to Real Life
After seeing the Spring 2024 designers bring fabulous and exciting ideas to the runways, we’re feeling incredibly inspired for the upcoming season. Through unexpected pairings, playful proportions, and chic styling, this year’s runway looks serve as the ultimate spring inspo. Here, we’re breaking down some of the biggest trends of the season so you can turn your Pinterest board and saved looks into wearable, everyday looks.
90s Minimalism
As we continue to experience trend fatigue in trying to keep up with ever-changing aesthetics and styles, the runways seem to be distilling the essentials in the chicest ways. 90s-inspired style continues to highlight a balance of style and comfort. You can see this trend in some of the key styles of the season, such as high-waisted wide leg trousers, longer-hemmed skirts and dresses, and denim, as well as the neutral colors that are holding steadfast into spring.

Renewed Romantic
Sweeping gowns, fluttering feminine ruffles, lacey layers, and more graced the runways as a modernized romantic look became prevalent. Following what some are calling “the year of the girl”, comes a presence of florals, organza, and intricate detailing that create ethereal looks without feeling overtly girly. This trend can be spotted through flounce and ruffle details, romantic tops, flowing maxi skirts, big floral prints, and some of the feminine yet muted colors of Spring ‘24.

Color Strategy
This spring’s runways brought bold and unusual color pairings that instantly make a fun statement. Shades of cherry red, cobalt blue, and a range of oranges join the ranks of bright Barbie pink and can be seen through a wide variety of styles. Wear as a pop of color in your look or build a head-to-toe colorful outfit that is sure to turn heads (and guarantee compliments).

Relaxed Tailoring
This year’s spin on the tailoring trend comes through small yet impactful updates, making them feel fresh and exciting. The runways gave us an undone, carefree approach to suiting and tailoring looks and with a balance of masculine and feminine. Think boxy, slightly oversized suiting paired with airy, more casual tops. Play with this trend in your workwear or bring blazers and trousers into your weekend, casual style for an instantly chic yet effortless look.
