12 Jan A Stylish New You: A Box Order with Lauren from San Francisco

Lauren is a 30-something Brand Marketing Manager living in San Francisco and happened to learn about our service in American Way magazine. As a busy professional on the go, Lauren is looking for her stylist, Erika, to help her create outfits appropriate for a business casual environment that transition nicely to after-work cocktails. She also wants to look chic and stylish for cocktail parties.

“I’m always ready for a laugh; adjusting to a new life and job in San Francisco and need a good cocktail when the work-day is done. I love  to be outside when it’s sunny or watching movies/reading a book when it’s raining. I’m a frequent traveler and enjoy living in various places around the world.” (You want to be friends with her too, right?!)

Erika styled several versatile outfits based on Lauren’s request for things like unique dresses, jumpers, a fur vest, ripped jeans, short and long statement necklaces and a rocker-chic look for nights out on the town.

In Lauren’s box, Erika included a leather slip dress by Lavender brown with statement accessories to lock down the rocker-vibe. She also included a BCBG structured halter top with a black leather pencil skirt, which also pairs back to the ripped skinny jeans or electric blue cigarette pants for versatile casual work or night out looks. Erika also styled a BCBGeneration flare-leg jumper with a waist-accentuating wrap belt and fun fringe necklace.

For each of the six uniquely-styled outfits, Erika included her tips and directions for wearing each look and mixing and matching pieces from other looks to create even more effortless options:

“FURTASTIC! : First, try the v-neck & wear un-tucked with the black skinnies. Scrunch the sleeves to be 3/4 & add the metal cuff! Cuff the skinnies at the ankle if too long & add fun heels [referencing the included shoe card] (#1,#7). Now, layer on the MUST-HAVE fur vest! Love it! Next, try the white fringe tank from look #4 with the black skinnies + your favorite black moto jacket + sexy heels (#9).”
